The ABSOLUT LOMO Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") is open for participation by anyone who is 21 or older at time of entry and is a permanent residence in a country where the ABSOLUT LOMO sweepstake is in accordance with the countries rules and regulations. Residences in the United States are not allowed to participate in the Sweepstakes.
Employees of V&S Vin & Sprit AB (publ), Lomography Society and Great Works and their respective subsidiaries, distributors, retailers, affiliates, printers, prize suppliers, advertising and promotion agencies, officers, agents and directors and its affiliates, and the immediate families (spouse, and parents, children and siblings, and their respective spouses regardless of where they live) and individuals living in the same households, whether related or not, of the above, are not eligible to enter or win.
The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable laws and regulations. By participating, entrants agree to these official rules and the decisions of the Sponsor (see point 9 for more information) and the Jury (please see point 3 for more information) which are final and binding on all matters relating to this Sweepsta kes.
Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 AM (Midnight) Greenwich Mean Time ("GMT") on November 20, 2006 and ends at 11:59:59 PM GMT on February 28, 2006 ("Promotional Period"). To enter the Sweepstakes during the Promotional Period, please visit www.absolutlomo.com and submit your work/works.
To participate in the Sweepstakes you will need to provide your name and e-mail address. When submitting the work to the Sweepstakes there will be an online tool that will allow you to easily upload as many images as you want. Each image must be at least 1536 pixels in either the height or width. As soon as you have uploaded your images, they will appear on the working space – where you can group, select, and tag them with keywords. Please specify where you took the shot and which camera you used, add a title and brief story, and tag the images with keywords. These tags will make your image easily searchable at a later date. You can choose between the following categories: My Absolut Lomo Companion, My Absolut Lomo Bottle Shape, My Absolut Lomo Artwork, My Absolut Lomo...
When you have submitted your works you have entered the Sweepstakes.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: 28 February 2007
The winners will be conducted from among all eligible entries which were voted among the top 100 work. The top 100 ranking will be dependent upon the votes of the visitors on www.absolutlomo.com
Each visitor will be able to rank each of the works submitted to the Sweepstakes on a scale from 1-5, where 5 is the highest ranking and 1 is the lowest ranking.
Three winners will be drawn on the 31 December 2006, 31 January 2007 and 28 February 2007 respectively, i.e. in a total nine persons. One of these nine winners will win the Grand Prize. The other eight winners will win the Second and Third prize.
Additionally, each month, i.e. on the 31 December 2006, 31 January 2007 and 28 February 2007 respectively, 110 persons/ month, i.e. 330 in total, will win a Special Price.
All winners will be drawn under the supervision of a jury (the "Jury"), whose decisions are final on matters relating to this sweepstakes. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
The Jury will consist of six artists, commissioned to create six different LOMO works, and 3 representatives from Lomography Society.
The persons in Jury are: Amira Bibawy, Mattias Fiegl and Michael Bayr from Lomographic Society and James Marshall, Sasha Liliac, Paulina Magos, Oliver Lonien, Huang Yan and Stella Mouratidi commissioned artists for the campaign.
The potential winners will be notified by e-mail and the winners names will be posted on www.absolutlomo.com
The winners will be notified on or before January 10th , 2007 and February 10th, 2007 and March, 10th 2007.
In the event of non-compliance with these rules, or if the prize or prize notification is unclaimed or returned as undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited and, at Sponsor's discretion, awarded to an alternate winner. By entering the Sweepstakes entrants, agree to the use by Sponsor and its designees of their names, cities and states of residence for this promotion, worldwide, and in perpetuity, in any and all forms of media, now known or hereafter devised (including and without limitation, the Internet) without additional compensation, notification or permission, except where prohibited by law. Upon request, winners consent to such in writing.
Grand Prize (decided on 15 March 2007): Gold Invitation to the Lomography World Congress 2007/ London (Round-trip for 2 persons including congress land-package for 3 nights) .
Second and Third Prize (decided on 5 th January and 5 th February 2007 and March,5 th 2007 respectively): Round-Trip for 1 person to the Lomography World Congress 2007/ London ( no hotel included).
Special Prize/month: (decided on 5th January 2007 and 5th February 2007 and March,5 th 2007 respectively)
No substitutions, cash equivalents, or transfers of prizes permitted except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) with one of comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion.
Winner is responsible for the payment of taxes on the prize and for any other costs and expenses associated with the acceptance and use of a prize not specifically described above.
Your submission to the Sweepstakes may be used and reproduced by the Sponsors in connection with the Sweepstakes on absolutlomo.com, absolut.com and lomography.com until 31 December 2008. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not participate in this Sweepstakes.
You hereby agree and acknowledge that you may not display, reproduce, exhibit or in any other way use the Work submitted to the Sweepstakes, in connection with any commercial or promotional activities of whatever kind. Any such use will be seen as an infringement of the rights in and to the ABSOLUT trademarks and V&S Vin & Sprit AB (publ) and Lomography Society's intellectual property rights. Neither title nor intellectual property rights are transferred to you by use of or access to these Sites nor by participating in the Sweepstakes; rather, all rights, title and interest in and to all aspects of these Sites remain the property of the Parties.
The following trademarks and all related logos and designs used herein are owned by V&S Vin & Sprit AB (publ) and/or its affiliates, subsidiaries, parent or related companies:
