The Diana World Tour finally arrives in Seoul, Korea – one of the most dynamic cities in the world. We bring the heart of analogue to spice up one of the world’s biggest technology hubs. A chain of events welcomed the Diana+ Detrich collection to this amazing city!

The opening party of the Diana World Tour at the Lomography Gallery Store was a real success! Analogue Lovers from all over the town enjoyed discovering the variety of new Diana clones and the Detrich collection. A huge Diana+ cake delighted our zealous crowd and was welcomed by a flurry of F+ flashbulbs like a red carpet catwalk! Speaking of cats, a new top feline overwhelmed the Seoul crowd - the brand new Diana F+ Snowcat special edition, which made its debut during the launch.

The fun didn’t stop there, as Lomography brought the house down with a Day/Night tour that offered our fanatical friends an alternative view of Seoul. During the day, a 7-hour long scavenger hunt was held, where our friends ventured to Deoksugung and Mt. Namsan to shoot insanely colourful Diana+ snapshots. During the night tour, parties and sightseeing were the highlight, enjoying the night scenes of Yeouido and Sunyodo (brilliant subjects for those long exposures, we must say).

The Diana+ World Tour’s leg in Seoul will be celebrated with Diana+ workshops at the Gallery Store, as well as other events to cap off the second east-side of the world tour of the lovely Diana+. If you’re in the neighbourhood you might fancy catching a Lubitel+ and LC-A+ workshop too!

Tokyo Calling

The Diana World Tour exhibition at the Lomography Gallery Store Tokyo will last until 26th of December and features the very finest of Diana Vignette images & stories alongside a primo selection of our classic “Detrich Collection” original Diana & Diana clone cameras.

The opening party took place at the Lomography Gallery Store Tokyo. About 350 party guests enjoyed shopping, drinking, dancing and letting their fantasy flow while sketching their very own Diana clone. Aside from the obvious starlet of the show that evening, Diana, we crowned another bright spark: the “Diana Vignettes Challenge” winner Takezzo.

The night after, an indefatigable bunch of Lomographers joined an unforgettable night tour, which started at Tokyo bay. Discovering the bay area by a traditionally named Japanese boat, the Yakatabune, and enjoying delicious Monjya Yaki (traditional Japanese food), the participants were introduced to tips, tricks and techniques for night-shooting with the Diana+.

The Diana day tour started the next day. The Lomographers were challenged with the mission to discover three exciting hot spots in Tokyo (Shimokitazawa, Saigoyama Park, and the Diet Building) through various Diana+ lenses.
