Store History

The Lisbon Lomography Embassy Store was founded about ten years ago and was the result of the vision and passion that the LOMO LC-A cult camera inspired in Ana and Sónia, two young Portuguese photographers who were studying in London at the time. When the two girls got back to Lisbon in 2000, the embassy started as a small office/gathering point for Lomographers in downtown Lisbon but through their boundless energy, this exhilarating experience quickly spread.Ana and Sónia maintained their pace and took the Lomography experience to many other cities all over the country and islands, working closely with artists, professionals, local groups and public services.
