The Lomography Gallery Store Hong Kong is located at Sheung Wan, a multicultural tourist district where the east meets west, antique meets modern arts and locals meet foreigners. At the middle of this cultural and historical collage, the Gallery Store serves as a meeting point for local and traveling Lomographers who will experience not only a local blend of Lomography, but also a snapshot of the unique culture and history of Hong Kong.

The Gallery Store Hong Kong offers the most complete collection of Lomographic items ranging from film, accessories to special edition cameras. Discontinued and hard to find cross-over products such as the Fisheye No.2 Paul Smith edition can also be seen on display.

Unlike other concept shops, the Gallery Store Hong Kong is set out with a special mission in mind – spread the culture and philosophy behind Lomography and all the unorthodox Lomographic cameras! In-store exhibitions are regularly hosted, featuring Lomographs from active Lomographers, artists and celebrities across Asia. New to Lomography? You may like to check out the monthly workshop organized by the store. Workshop topics range from "How to Load Your Film" to "Instant Pinhole Photography". Beginner or not, you will always discover something new about Lomography!

Shop History

The Lomographic Society Asia set foot in the local culture in 2002 by way of a small upper-floor office. Given the dense population, rich architectural details and multicultural background, Hong Kong has proven to be a perfect city for Lomographers. Over the years, Lomography has gathered a community so large and active that the world's first Lomography Gallery Store was opened in Hong Kong in 2007. Covered by a LomoWall constructed by local Lomographers and decorated with vintage furniture selected and shipped directly from Vienna, the Gallery Store has become a great attraction to all Lomographers whether they hail from abroad or just around the corner!

In 2008, the Lomographic Society Asia kick-started the worldwide event the "Diana World Tour 2008" in Hong Kong with three days of consecutive events and the Diana F+ Hong Meow Hong Kong Edition. Together Lomographers shared possibly the most exciting Lomographic once-in-a-lifetime celebratory experience! An exciting analogue future ahead, the Lomography Store Hong Kong looks forward to celebrating the 25th Anniversary Year of the legendary LOMO LC-A in 2009 with you!
