Located in the heart of Rio close to the legendary beach of Ipanema, you will find the Lomography Gallery Store Rio de Janeiro amongst some of the best “sucos bars” (fruit juice bars), coolest art galleries, cafes and shops.
Here you will find all you could possibly want or need from the Lomography collection. Expect not only all of our cameras and special editions but also all the accessories, books and fashion pieces that Lomography offers. We want you to get to know our products! They are on display for you to get your hands on as you browse around the store. Plus, if you participate in workshops or outdoor walkabouts, we offer loaner cameras so you can really get a feel for analogue joy.
Store Specials
It’s not all about shopping at the Lomography Gallery Store Rio de Janeiro. This store has been designed with analogue love by the Lomography architecture team. Here we house the largest LomoWall in South America and provide Lomographers with a bright, elegant space to congregate, talk and relax.
Also serving as the Rio de Janeiro Embassy, we hope to attract Lomography lovers from all over South America and the world to this location to meet other photography enthusiasts, share tips and ask our knowledgeable staff any questions they may have.
Store History
The Lomography Gallery Store Rio de Janeiro opened in late October 2009 and proudly took the title of the 10th Lomography Gallery Store and the very 1st, not just in Brazil, but in the whole of South America! The party we threw for our grand opening celebration was a huge success with nearly 600 guests, live music, Caipirinhas and cameras in hand, a great time was had by all.
As the Lomography flagship in South America, we are hell bent on making it the headquarters and the first of many more for Latin Americans to enjoy!
