Bio:

Since I am lucky and have a job which lets me travel worldwide, I always take a day off and spend my day taking pictures of the area I'm staying in. I´m never really interested in the latest attractions or the biggest sightseeing spot around. I just like to spend hours in one place and shoot people passing by; this is really relaxing for me.

What do you most love about the LC-Wide?

You have to get close to the object of your desire to capture it. This means you have to go where the action is!

Describe the LC-Wide in five words:

Small, Multifunctional, Modern, Useful, Wide

What's the strangest, funniest, or hands-down greatest Lomographic encounter that you've ever had?

Since I got into Lomography a lot of things happened. Some people wanted to steal my camera when I was shooting an abandoned building at night and one guy on the Berlin subway wanted to start a fight with me because I took a picture of him! But there have also been a lot of funny experiences, like this old couple who asked me to take a Polaroid of them when they saw me with my SX70. This shot is still one of my all-time favourites.

Your advice to future LC-Wide shooters?

The LC-Wide is for sure great for landscapes and architecture but you should also try some street photography or portraits! But always remember: GET CLOSE!
