When it comes to making movies with the LomoKino, there are many variables you can control and a few (like weather) that you can’t.

Learn about the ones you can control here and you’ll be ready for when the unknown variables pop up!

  • DEVELOPING YOU LOMOKINO MOVIE

Because the LomoKino uses a format most labs won’t be used to seeing, it’s best to tell your film lab about the LomoKino in advance. Ask the lab technician not to cut your negatives, but if they do it automatically, it’s no big deal — you’ll still be able to turn them into a great LomoKino masterpiece.

  • SCANNING YOUR FILM

Far and away, the easiest method for scanning in your LomoKino film roll is by using the Lomography Smartphone Film Scanner. It offers Lomographers and analogue lovers a quick, easy and portable way to scan 35mm films and it’s dedicated App has a specific option for scanning LomoKino movies!
