About
It’s easy to find us! In the middle of downtown Porto, the store combines the new and the old - showcasing the analogue future in north Portugal. If you visit us, you’ll find a great many Lomography gadgets: cameras, films, bags, books, accessories and much more. In the gallery there’s always a good Lomographic exhibition, each one with an opening party, cinema session and music. We can always help you choose the best camera for your needs and interests. Also we promote a lot of competitions where you can show off your talents as a Lomographer!
Store Specials
The Lomography Gallery Store in Porto is always in motion; projects and community meetings are an important part of our activity. The store features “everything you need to make Lomography happen” and hosts competitions, workshops, lectures and exhibitions as a way to build up stronger relations between people. Cirurgias Urbanas, a local team of architects, planned the store interior. Inspired by travelling and shipping packages, the interior makes the store seem like a big adventure.
Store History
The Porto Lomography team has been up and running since the end of 2006 but the new store finally opened in October 2008. The team works closely with the Lisbon Lomographic Embassy to establish the Portuguese community for Lomography. At the beginning it was a little project, which over time has grown to immense proportions, so we can’t wait to see even more people visiting the exhibitions, experiencing the workshops and sharing Lomography tips. The Diana World Tour exhibition made a stop here in Porto on its way around the world. Many people had the chance to see the Diana collection and to get to know its history better.
