About
Situated in bustling downtown just steps from the Capital building, The Lomography Gallery Store Austin is thrilled to be a part of Congress Avenue's exciting transition and future. A sprawling 1,900 square foot space with 15 feet high ceilings, the Gallery Store is a long hall structure featuring limestone walls restored to their classic state. Belonging to one of the earlier building rows in Austin's business district, this slice of Southern glory is blaring with charm and distinction, at over 100 years in age!
Store Specials
A Lomographic Shooting Gallery: Come witness the unveiling of the largest LomoWall in the South with over four thousand photos dedicated to the city of Austin! What the hell is a LomoWall you ask? You have to see it for yourself to fully take in the effect, but our LomoWall includes 4,500 authentic, colorful and awe-inspiring analogue Lomographs celebrating Austin as a cultural city of delights, all snapped by local resident Lomographers! The Gallery Store will also exhibit a rotating collection of work created by and in honor of our local Austin community as inspired by the Lomographic ethos.
Lomography is calling lovers of all things analog to become part of our ever-growing community. We regularly host social and educational gatherings that focus on photographic techniques and our own Lomographic side-show of unique and creativity inspiring cameras, film and accessories. Make new friends, add some shooting tricks up your sleeve, and break all the rules of artistic expression!
