Why scanning?

Many Lomographers have been doing it for years. Scanning your own negatives is a rewarding process and gives you ultimate control over your images. There’s nothing better than going to bed after a night of scanning and knowing you’ve captured all those precious moments safe and sound exactly the way you want them.

Why invest in a scanner?

Why scanning masks?

Film negatives are highly sensitive and therefore need proper treatment. To hold a negative in place and prepare it for scanning, a photo scanner comes with a scanning mask for your film. However, these scanning masks are usually not prepared for scanning special formats: they cover the sprocket-holes of the film, pre-defined frames and aren’t comfortable to use. Their use is limited to scanning a standard landscape picture taken with a standard camera.

But what do you do with all those overlapping exposures, doubles, triples, endless panoramas and sprocket-hole images you get from experimenting with analogue photography? You need a scanning mask that isn’t limited to standard frames and formats!

Why the DigitaLIZA?

With the DigitaLIZA scanning masks you are perfectly prepared to introduce your precious Lomographs to the digital world.

To cut it short: you NEED the DigitaLIZA 35mm for scanning your Lomography Spinner 360°, Horizon, Lubitel+ 35mm and Diana F+ 35mm images!

It’s also a great for keeping a negative flat. For example, if you ghetto scan your images using a digital camera, you’ll definitely get the best results with the DigitaLIZA holding your negative tightly in place.

You can save money on the DigitaLIZA when you buy it with certain cameras.
